Gam Plus Fratesi The partnership of Danish-born Stine Gam, 32, and Italian Enrico Fratesi, 29, is the perfect union of two cultures, a fusion of technology, poetry and tradition. The two, who met when studying architecture in Italy, formed their company in 2005 and have already created an impressive body of work, from lacy patterned plastic chairs to a butterfly-shaped sofa bed. Their Ant’ique wallpaper (crawling ants create the baroque pattern) won an award from the German Design Council (pricing through GamPlusFratesi.com).
