Surprising stowaway storage makes this bath multifunctional

Convenience was a top priority when Jay and Betsy Schweppe renovated their master bath. The 275-square-foot space in their 1920s Colonial in Upper Montclair, New Jersey, had to serve not only as a bath, but also as a dressing room.

"Storage was a prime consideration," says Betsy. "We didn't have space in the bedroom for dressers or bureaus, so I wanted to be able to close all the doors and have everything neat and tidy."
