A Bath with Breathing Space
A glass-wrapped bath enjoys privacy and a treetop view
The site near Barton Creek, in the western part of Austin, Texas, is where Barbara and Sam Granett envisioned a wood-framed contemporary house with a totally private upstairs master suite. Their architect, Mell Lawrence, FAIA, of Mell Lawrence Architects in Austin, created a plan that, he says, would afford the couple expansive views of a nature preserve as well as a distant golf course and, of course, the creek.
