While the side of the house facing the lake is mostly glass, the side facing the road is largely Kalwall, a fiberglass material that resembles shoji screens. But the architects interrupted the Kalwall for what they jokingly call a “FedEx window.” Luntz explains: “You use it to see if there’s a delivery truck in the driveway.”
