Bright Idea

Frighteningly realistic, this lamp is patterned after the designer’s own brain. Seriously.  After being processed through a 3D printer, the image from an actual MR scan became the jumping-off point for the offbeat lampshade. Suspended atop a super skinny base, its clinical creepiness is certainly eye-catching.
