Californication Writer's Study

For Jamie Drake, an antique fireplace mantel was the inspiration for Californication's Hank Moody’s second floor study. A newly made monolithic wall creates a backdrop for the fireplace and helps ameliorate an asymmetrical and odd architectural situation. The wall also draws the eye to inspire. Greige, stone and ethereal blue hues create a soothing mood and sensuous textiles like Ultrasuede, velvet and fur lend a textural, nesting feel. Bold focal point accents — such as the paper clip chandelier , book tower sculpture, faux finish desk and graphic wall art — spur and capture the imagination.
