Dexter Kitchen

Like the character for which it was created, Dexter’s kitchen by Johnny Grey Studios is practical, efficient and slick. With a nod to Miami’s famed Art Deco architecture, a floor-swooping, arc-shaped cooktop island , across from a ribbon-shaped wood ply countertop that dramatically curls around cabinets, anchors the space. Divided into distinct zones for food prep, cleanup and entertaining, the room can accommodate multiple people so tasks can be completed without traffic flow being impacted along the narrow walkway. Splashes of vivid ocean blue, warm curry and cumin mix with natural wood tones to give a touch of the tropics.
