"In designing the cafe, I'm imagining who the Showtime viewer is and how the room will be used. I see someone intelligent and offbeat with an air of mystery and a penchant for drama," says Kirsten Brant. "To me, it's a woman who'll live in this grand house and entertain here. This is her lounge, a place where she'll leave her shoes and day as she enters, make a drink at the bar and sink into a banquette. This will be an escape from the everyday into something seductive and a bit daring."
