The front courtyard is now a private sculpture garden. The "water feature" serves as a pond for koi and a setting for a bronze sculpture by Beatrice de Roissier that Polone purchased at Brueton, the Los Angeles showroom, and turned into a fountain. The glass front door to the house is the kind used in commercial buildings. From here you can see through the house and yard all the way to the horizon.
