Terrace

Most of the first-floor rooms open onto the terrace and yard, the site of numerous parties, including a 200-guest Mexican fiesta. "We hung piñatas from the beams above the Moroccan tile dining table and had a mariachi band playing," says Poppy. The wood-and-iron beams shade the dining area, offering a refreshing respite from the sunny, tropically landscaped backyard.
