10 • Green Walls

As ecologically correct as green roofs (they cool the building and absorb rainwater runoff), green walls just look cool. In Seoul, Korea, Mass Studies architects used replacement tiles covered in Pachysandra terminalis, a common evergreen ground cover, to create the curving walls of this Ann Demeulemeester shop.
