32 • KieranTimberlake Associates

Since 1984, Stephen Kieran (right) and James Timberlake have turned out one prize-winning sustainable project after another, from the recyclable Loblolly House to a renovation of the Sidwell Friends Middle School in Washington, D.C. (one of the AIA's top ten green projects of 2007). In 2008, the practice received the AIA's Architecture Firm Award. This July, their prefab Cellophane House will be featured in MoMA's "Home Delivery: Fabricating the Modern Dwelling" (KieranTimberlake.com). -- ML
