19 • Charles + Ray Eames Postage Stamps

The U.S. Postal Service has salved the irritation of its recent rate hike with this set of 42-cent stamps commemorating the work of everyone's favorite husband-and-wife midcentury design team (available in June). Each stamp is different: a portrait, their home and signature pieces including the "potato chip chair," one of the couple's enduring bent-plywood inventions ($6.72/sheet; USPS.com). -- ML
