Why I Love This House
"Bamboo floors rock my world, especially in a low-traffic area like a bedroom. They look good, they hold up well—and Mother Nature thanks you."—Ty
The view into the wooded lot is the bedroom's main attraction; roller blinds tucked above the windows can be lowered for full privacy, but most of the time the windows stay uncovered. The chaise is by Le Corbusier; the cast aluminum Skeleton Chair on the side of the bed is by Michael Aram. Colors in the new suite are soothing and spalike, just the ticket for a restful retreat.
