This 20th century chair is about 90 percent Sheraton and, the rest, a Chippendale/Hepplewhite blend. It has all the Sheraton details, but the design breaks the flat back for a crested shield-like shape. After the 19th century, many manufacturers tried to "update" these classic designs.
