Collecting: Kid-Proof Antiques

This room doubles as the Jeffers’ dining room and the Garth’s conference room. A former employee of Garth’s built the harvest table out of wood from the property’s ca. 1810 stone-end barn. The chairs that sit around it are made by the local Ohio woodworker, David T. Smith. To blend with the heritage of the house, they are distress painted in his museum finish paint scheme.

For items similar to the Jeffers’ collection shop at their Early American Antiques and Decorative Arts Auction on November 23rd – 24th .
