Occupying an entire floor, the black and gray second-story living room is the most seductive space in the house. The glass fireplace wall (which also contains the television set) dramatically reflects an open grouping of deep-seated Chelsea sofas from Henry Becq’s Modenature and a gaggle of shapely Christian Liaigre side tables; the coffee table is vintage ‘70s Italian. Dramatic curtains made of lingerie satin lined in black could moonlight as cocktail dresses.
