Hoppen’s pristine white bathroom is both ceremonial and functional. The bathtub, designed by Alternative Plans, is encased in a surround that’s clad with a sheet of painted white glass; the wooden “path” that joins it to the raised sink provides a non-slip floor as well as a dark, textural counterpoint to the room’s predominantly cool surfaces. The faucets and shower are Hoppen’s designs for Waterfront Ltd., and she created the marble basin for Marble City.
