Because the living room doesn’t receive a lot of direct light, Southern-born designer John Lyle covered the walls in a sunny strié paper from Farrow & Ball, then mirrored one of the walls to expand the space and hide the brick underneath. The sofa and bronze Drum coffee table are from the designer’s own furniture collection; the curvaceous French console against the mirror is vintage, as is the yellow figurative lamp that sits on it (the Wilshire floor lamps are from Restoration Hardware).
