• Pillows in an array of sizes anchor the head of the bed. Mixing satin-covered Euro squares with bolsters and small embroidered pillows creates an inviting focal point.

• Fine filigree and open floral patterns unite elements from disparate cultures. Here, a Moroccan table lives comfortably with a Chinese rug and Indian pillows.

• A variation on the monochromatic scheme, the pillows and quilt all display different values of blue, from palest powder to indigo, adding depth and dimension.

• A solid-color quilt and shams and crisp white sheets form an understated foundation that doesn’t compete with the patterned elements elsewhere in the room.
