When we first saw Aviva Stanoff’s pillow designs, we thought, “who is this women and how does she do this?” Stanoff has developed a textile technology where if she presses leaves, lace, lavender or any object into velvet, it will leave its exact imprint behind. The lush and vivid quality of Stanoff’s designs made every botanical pattern we’ve ever seen wilt by comparison. With design this good, we had to see her at work.
