That genre could easily tilt toward cliché, especially since the property sits on Hypoluxo, a small island floating amid the canals of the intra-coastal waterway between Palm Beach and West Palm. Instead, the McGeehins were after something infused with "more exotic ideas" as well as "a bit of art deco."
