Here's How: Decorative Charger
Silver chargers get a double does of glamour with a pealized necklace around the rim. Hot glue several sizes and shapes of faux-pearl buttons, letting peeks of silver gleam through.
Skill Level: Beginner
Materials: Assorted 1/4- to 11/2-inch pearl buttons; hot-glue gun; 14- inch-round metallic charger plate; tweezers.
Directions:
1. Starting with the largest buttons, apply glue to back and press onto outer rim of charger.
2. Add medium buttons interspersed between large buttons in the same manner.
3. Using tweezers, pick up small button; apply glue to back and place in space between larger buttons. Fill all the spaces between larger buttons with small buttons in this way. Allow some buttons to overlap for mosaic effect. Let glue dry.
