Studio ceramist Kathy Erteman's "Traffic Patterns" exhibition recently opened at the Greenwich House Pottery's Jane Hartsook Gallery in New York City. The self-proclaimed urban voyeur drew inspiration from mid-century architecture to her European and Southern Californian upbringing (and everything in between), when creating her large scaled wall pieces, vessels, and works on paper. A master of texture, Erteman's wall square compositions depict urban views from an aerial perspective. The exhibition will continue through November 19th.
Erteman's abstract images can be seen in drawings and vessels.
