Giorgio and Claudine Lostao, the husband-and-wife interior architecture duo behind Ridiculous Design LLC, have combined their brilliance once again to create Artwork in a Bag, a fabulous solution for design lovers out there who are looking to give their walls a little facelift without breaking the bank or jackhammering the walls. Aptly named “Louis,” the trompe l’oeil panels, which are acrylic painted onto canvas, are a tongue-in-cheek nod to French architecture styles of yore, and come in three different sizes: small, medium, and extra-large (but custom sizes and colors are available, too). They’ve even created a fireplace slipcover, in case you want to give the old standby a new look – and you can personalize it with up to twenty letters for no extra charge. We think even the snootiest of French kings would approve. (From $999; RidiculousDesign.com)
