Designs for the Next 90 Years

What does the future hold? Electrolux, the major appliance manufacturer that celebrates its 90 year anniversary this year, enlisted the help of young international design students to help envision what home appliances will look like in the next 90 years. On September 24th, the first, second and third place winners of “Designs for the Next 90 Years”, its seventh annual Design Lab competition, will be chosen from among eight finalists at 100% Design London, the UK's premier architecture event. We're pulling for Purdue University student Louis Filosa whose sleek and chic Renew smart steamer design has us wishing it was already 2100.
