We’ve seen dual function plenty, but what about triple? Believe it or not, this gleaming box from Gus Modern is a lamp, a stool, and an accent table—and perfectly modern as all three. The plastic piece is roto-molded (a process that creates a one-piece, seamless hollow form) and shines from a light connected on its underside.
We love the dramatic and futuristic luster, but think the sheen is soft enough to not overpower. It also supports a full 200 pounds so it can legitimately be used as a seat and is certainly sturdy enough to serve as a table. So sit down and bask in its glow, and if you get tired of the limelight, just switch it off with a convenient foot pedal.
