K&B 360: The Sincerest Form of Flattery...

The new Bulthaup b2 kitchen system (above) is gorgeous, no doubt. I freely admit to lusting after its museum-quality details and sublime materials. But the concept—haven't we seen something like this before?

Why yes, we have; in 1944, to be precise, as this magazine clipping from that year demonstrates. Just goes to show that once a good idea, always a good idea.
