DESIGN DAILY: Blue and White China—Updated

I grew up with antique blue and white dishes all over the house; I love the look but I want it with a twist. These Venezia plates by Richard-Ginori remind me of all the things I love about my mother’s collection of Flow Blue and Transferware but with the comtemporary kick I’ve been looking for.

Yea the willow pattern is classic . . . that's why I was excited to see such a great spin on it!

I know those blue and white

I know those blue and white ones you are talking about. Saw a wall of them on some design magazine a few months back. The darker blue seems so much more elegant to me. Don't tell your mother though, I am sure her collection took years...
