
If the word “royal” sounds old, stuffy, and way too traditional, think again. Unusual regal accessories are popping up in top home décor stores, and they’re just as chic and modern as ever. We were intrigued when we first saw these votive holders from Vagabond Vintage ($14 each, Mothology.com) but promptly after that, we started noticing crowns everywhere! So while a whole roomful of crown-shaped pieces is far from recommended, one well-placed accessory might just add all the whimsy and charm a room needs.
