When writer’s block hits, we think it’s best to walk away from the computer and return to paper. We head for fresh air with hopes of fresher thoughts—no guarantees, but we keep a “Bright Ideas” notebook in our pocket just in case. The covers of these recycled 40-page beauties are hand-letterpressed with the choice of an old-fashioned typewriter, pencil, or light bulb to help the illumination process. —Kirsten Fields
